Joining The Forum

The first time you visit the forum you need to register a user name and password.  You do that by clicking the 'Register" option on the forum main page.  You will enter your user name in the format set by The Summit Scribes Web Site Working Group.  If you are unsure of the required format, you may email the Web Master (wizard at summitscribes dot org) including your full name and the correct format will be emailed in return.  Once the Web Master verifies that you are a Guild Member,  a user account will be established for you and you will receive an email confirming that you may sign into the forum and gallery.  You may read any posts that other members have placed on the forum, reply to a post if you wish or you may post a new topic.

The Gallery

The gallery is a place where Guild Members may place pictures of their artwork so that other members can view them.  You may use the upload option to move an image from your PC to the gallery.  Because most image files from digital cameras or scanners are very large, picture files should be .JPG format and optimized for the web which reduces the file size.  Most photo processing software will have a way to do that.
