Summit Scribes will host a “Back to Basics” class taught by Sally Liverman on Thursday, September 26 and Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Candy Entingh’s home. Class is limited to 5 students. This is for newer calligraphers and covers everything basic to our craft. The cost is $65 per student (payable at first class). This year’s workshop with Suzanne Moore, entitled “Speaking to Eyes”, is now open for registration!

This workshop has been designed for us by Suzanne to accommodate beginning calligraphers as well as the experienced. Your penmanship, printing or favorite “hand” will be incorporated with calligraphic marks using a variety of tools, and added color to bring expression to a word or words you have chosen to work with.

Times: Thursday, the 17th – from 5 PM to 8 PM (the doors will be open for earlier set up)

Suzanne Moore will be speaking at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at 1:30 PM. She will be sharing her part of the Saint John’s Bible and showing her original work that was used. This is open to everyone to come and be a part of this special presentation.
